Discord now displays more detailed information about the EA games your friends are playing

For a while now, Discord has offered a feature called a rich presence. This is a fire developer that can be used to connect their games to do disputes and make it easier to jump into it from the chat application. We have mostly seen studios adding integration to individual titles, but now EA does it at the launcher level.

Starting today, the EA application will allow you to connect your dispute account. After you link the two, contact the dispute you will not only see the game you are playing through the EA application but they will also know how long you did it and specific game modes at this time. They will also see if you are ready to group to play something different. The last point is important because it might help encourage your friends to play a game that they haven’t planned when they first launched a dispute.

You can connect your account by navigating to the settings menu in the EA application, and then clicking “My account” followed by “connected account.”
